My scanner does not open on my Macbook Pro M1, it just says I don't have permission but I never had this issue on my last mac so don't see why I am having it now? It only happened in the last update and i've tried all the settings!
MacBook Pro (2020 and later)
In the Finder, Right-Click on the scanner, then tap Get Info, and change permissions to give yourself Read & Write access.
Note: You might need to press the lock at the bottom and use Touch ID or enter your password.

I can not get the scanner to open on my new MacBook Pro. It worked perfectly fine on my old MacBook pro. I get a message "You do not have permission to open the application"

If that doesn’t work, look for an updated driver on the manufacturer’s website.
