on my mac 24” my mouse pointer is stuck in the top left hand corner, what is wrong?

Thanks for the replies. It turned out the problem was because my mouse was on temper glass. Once I it a piece of paper between the mouse and glass, the mouse worked fine. Once again thank-you for your response.
