Apple Watch series 2 - not working after update

My Apple Watch won’t pair with my phone, as it says there is no internet connection, even though I am connected.

Hi,

I have tried all these steps. I ended up unpairing the watch and resetting factory settings. Turning on the watch gives my the setup screen (select language & region) then to pair with phone, no ability to connect the watch to the internet through my phone.
