Unable to send message - Message Blocking is active.

iPhone 11. iOS 14.7.1 How can I send SMS messages? They are blocked, cannot find how to unblock them. iMessage is fine, just will not send or receive SMS messages.

Thanks

Double check something:

Open Settings ➔ Messages ➔ Send as SMS: Ensure that this is set to ON.

If the above is already set to ON then ensure that you can make and receive calls. This will tell you that the SIM card has active service. If this is the case then contact your carrier for further resolution.

Yep, one of the first things I tried. No dice. So you think it's the provider (T-mobile). I don't think so, some other SMS calls go through! You would think that this particular SMS problem number was blocked, right? Not the case. SMS is included in the wireless plan I have. Thanks tho, I'll keep trying.
