Ipad Pro

My new ipad pro is not syncing or recognized by my older, 2012 Macbook pro. Please help. I have Catalina OS and the music (iTunes) app is able to recognize and sync with my older iphone and other older ipads.

In macOS Catalina and later, you cannot use iTunes for syncing an iOS device, any longer.

I believe you need to use the macOS Finder app to do this chore now.
