Increase Macbook Pro Storage

I've been wondering if I can upgrade the storage on my Macbook computer as it always seems to run out of space and I have to constantly clear out files every now and then just to have it running quickly and store files. Is there any way I can purchase more storage or have Apple insert a new Macintosh hard drive with more storage? I was trying to see if Apple does offer this and I wasn't sure if this is an option for long-time Mac users as I found it listed on their site here:

https://www.apple.com/shop/mac/accessories/storage

My current storage is 121.08 GB and I only have 18.65 GB of storage. I cannot figure out how to get rid of the "Other" storage that is eating up the rest of the space I need on my computer which is 32.32 GB. Please help me out with this, thank you.

Probably not, if it is young enough to be running Catalina. You haven't told us the age so it is hard to look up specifications.

See used and available storage space on your Mac [was: What is 'Other' and 'Purgeable' in About This Mac?] - https://support.apple.com/HT202867

"Other: Contains files that don’t fall into the categories listed here. This category primarily includes files and data used by the system, such as log files, caches, VM files, and other runtime system resources. Also included are temporary files, fonts, app support files, and plug-ins. You can't manage the contents of this category. The contents are managed by macOS, and the category varies in size depending on the current state of your Mac."

Also, try to rebuild the Spotlight index: https://support.apple.com/HT201716

If you can get an active "buy" link then a thing is still available. Pretty much any external hard drive will work. It doesn't have to say it is Mac specific. They all are and the Mac bit just talks about bundled software which you don't need.
