Airtags with iPhone 8

I successfully connected new airtags to my iPhone 8 (I thought), however, can’t see them in the Find My app. Are these useless with my older iPhone?

They should be fine with your iPhone, as long as your iOS version is kept current.

AirTag location on iphone I synced my new AirTag to my phone. It looked like everything worked, now where do I find where to access it on my phone?
