I charged my Apple Pencil, I made sure the tip was screwed on, I restarted my iPad and I have forgotten and repaired it. Unfortunately my Apple Pencil still has a issue where it won’t respond even though it’s connected and randomly starts working then stopping after not using it for a minute, what else could be the problem?

How long have you had the Apple Pencil? Is this a first or second generation Pencil? When was the last time that you charged the device, and do you keep it charged on a regular basis?
It is first gen and I’ve had it for around 2.5 years, I always keep it charged regularly, basically everyday, and it is currently 100% as I charged it an hour ago.
I tried everything and my Apple Pencil is still buggy
