No Apple TV resume on Fire TV HD

Same one here: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/251656645 with no solution...

This is a continuing problem. If you pause a program on Apple TV and let the screensaver start, your program will not resume--it will start from the beginning. It is your app, correct, Apple? No issues with any other apps (Prime, Netflix, HBO Max, Paramount+, etc.).

Not having this problem. Have you tried deleting the AppleTV app and resinstalling? is your FireTV up-to-date? I seem to recall a recent update.
