Recovered files
Hi.
I keep getting folders named "recovered files" in trash on my Mac. From what I can see, it is only screenshots. Does anyone know why this happens and how I can stop it?
Thanks in advance.

Generally this happens if you don't properly shut down your Mac when it turns off. A proper shut down is from the Apple menu. If you get a dialog saying this machine must restart in multiple languages, you may have a hardware issue, that's causing what is known as a kernel panic. Not knowing the age the computer from Apple menu -> About This Mac, we can't say which hardware diagnostic you should use.

Hi.
Thank you for the reply. From what I can see, my Mac is from 2016.
When I shut down my Mac, I always use the Apple menu. I also don't get a dialog saying the machine must restart in multiple languages.
