Transferring Data from an old phone to a new one trouble.

I followed the steps for transferring data from the old phone to a new device using the quick start method, but the new phone has had a blank screen with "Setting up your Apple ID" for about an hour now. I don't know if this is transferring the data from the old phone because it isn't on the screen "Transferring Data". I'm a bit unsure if its actually transferring the data, and i dont know how to get rid of the "Setting up your Apple ID" screen, or if it's actually good?

We know we are replying quite a while after you posted this, how is the process going now? It can sometimes take a while, but if it had been a full hour with no further progression, it would be safe to power cycle both devices to try again or try another method.
