I recently deleted some contacts from icloud and updated it. Although it is not showing in my contacts but I can still see those in Whatsapp. I tried refreshing the contact list but they are still there. I can see their status updates etc. how to fix this?

Thanks for replying but the link did not help my cause. It shows how to delete contacts one by one. If I go this way it will take me days to delete all those contacts.
