Can't remove an old icloud email address from my iCloud Account

I can't seem to remove an old iCloud email address from my iCloud "Reachable At" part of my account. When I log into my iCloud account and click on edit on that section, there is no "X" next to that email account. It has a ? instead. Not sure how to fix this. :P
