Numbers Formula SUMIF

A few common things could be occurring:

1. The formula is incorrect. The ranges could be mixed up, the condition might be written incorrectly, or something else. It is hard to tell from here.
2. The formula is not finding any matches and therefore nothing is being summed or the sum is actually zero. I.e., it is working properly and the sum is actually zero. Given you are posting it as a problem, this is unlikely.
3. The values to be summed are formatted as text, not a numeric format (or automatic). Numbers that are formatted as text will be ignored, just like all other text is ignored in SUM, SUMIF, etc.

A screenshot and your formula could help determine if the formula is correct. For the third one, select all the cells you are trying to sum and take a look at the cell format to see if they are text. If they are "text" or "automatic", change them to a numeric format, select a cell somewhere else, then select them all again and see if the format stuck.

Can you show us your current formula and a screen shot of the table showing the column(s) involved in the calculation?

Double slick the cell containing the formula to open the editor.

Place the pointer just above and to the left of the circle at the intersection of the column and row reference tabs.

Press shift - command - 4

Drag the pointer down and right until the selection rectangle includes the columns that are highlighted in the colours seen in the formula, then release the mouse button to capture the image.

To include the image in your post here, click the 'two mountains' button (second last in the row of buttons below the message you are writing), then double-clck the image file ("Screen Shot " followed by the date and time). The image will appear in your post after a short pause.
