Sounds like there is a high EMI device close to the iMac or somewhere between the iMac and Wi-FI Router.

Unplug your internet router (cable modem etc.). Wait 60 sec and plug it back in. Wait a little while for the router to reconnect to your internet provider.
If this fails, contact your internet provider.
So I surmise you own another Apple device such as an iPad. In which case, go to Settings > General > Reset and tap "Reset Network Settings". This will clear all your network connections, in particular the Wi-Fi you mentioned, and you'll need to to recreate them; small price to pay to have a functioning device, isn't it?
This is a hospital network I can’t disconnect the modem. Also this WiFi always works on my iPhone and MAC book without any disconnection
