I need to know why My Apple iTunes card is not working. It says it is not a valid code. And I have the receipt and called the store to make sure the attendant scanned my card. He rudely said yes.

I can not use my Apple ITunes card I bought from a convenient store. I have the receipt. I put the code in manually and scanned it with my iPad camera and it still says invalid code. I called the store and asked the manager if he scanned my card before I left and he said yes or he wouldn’t have charged me. And I don’t know what to do from here.
