Mac Photos app shows "No Photos" when connecting iPhone 11 Pro

Yes, I have tried resetting my privacy settings and trusting the Mac. That makes sense and seems to have helped others, but I am still having the issue.

Any other suggestions, please?

Try another different cable - preferably an apple original, or a different USB port - that sort of error is most commonly from poor quality or faulty cables. Sometimes different USB ports work better.

Which system version is running on your Mac?

Ar you using iCloud Photos on the iPhone? Even if you did not enable iCloud intentionally, it may have become enabled automatically after a system upgrade. If Cloud Photos is enabled and "Optimise iPhone Storage" you may not besting Anny photos to import from your iPhone, because the photos may only be in iCloud and not on your device.
