Apple charger broke off in the charging port and apple says not under warranty - why?
Because that is accidental damage, not a factory defect.

The cord was brand new and had no visible defects when I plugged it in to the port. How is that accidental damage? The cord was obviously defective and was an authentic apple cord. The store returned my money for the defective cord and now my phone port is jacked.
