Help. My Apple TV won’t connect

If this is an Apple TV HD or 4K model you need to take it to your local Apple Authorized Service Provider to have it reset for you, these models cannot be done by the end users. If you have an Apple TV 3 or earlier please follow the steps in Reset or restore your Apple TV to its factory settings

Is the status light on the Apple TV off, on, or flashing?

It needs to be restored. If it is an Apple TV3 or eelier you can do it, however if it is an Apple TV HD or 4K you need to take it to your local AASP for them to reset it for you.
