Open Settings ➔ General ➔ Software Update : If there is an update available then it will be listed here and you can then update. Make sure that your iPhone's battery is charged more than 50% and that your iPhone is connected to a WI-Fi Network.

You have stated, in our profile, that you have an iPhone 5s. Make sure that it is an iPhone 5s. If you have an iPhone 5 (without the S) then you cannot update to iOS 12.5.1.

To confirm which model of iPhone you have, open Settings ➔ General ➔ About ➔ Model Name : You will see your model name here.
