I am trying to download a YouTube video to a Powerpoint presentation with no luck. Has anyone been able to do that procedure correctly? Thank you.

Generally speaking, that's not legal.
You don't own the rights to it and have no legal right to present it outside of YouTube.
Embed a link to the video in your presentation. It will play in all it's glory, advertisements included.
Thanks for your information. I wasn't planning on copying just specifics. I was hoping to embed the youTube video, adds and all, in a powerpoint presentation as is. I wanted to have something funny to play if and when one of my presenters was running late, or did not show for his presentation. I copied the entire web address into the Powerpoint but it still did not work properly. Thank you for your assistance.
