Within a few weeks after purchase, my 4th generation iPad charging port would often not accept the apple charger even after trying several. For some unknown reason it would later seem fine and work for a few days or weeks. It’s doing it again. Has anyone else experienced this and what can I do to end the frustration? Thanks

Please explain what you mean by "won't accept". Are you unable to plug in the cable, or is it that the iPad is not showing that it is charging? Have you tried a different cable, a different power adapter, a different wall plug, or checked the port of the iPad for any lint or other debris that could be blocking the cable?
Hi Chris, I can’t plug it in. Second time it’s happened since purchase in January but last time after several failed attempts to plug the cable in I had given up. Tried again later and it slid right in, but not this time.
