iPad charge faster

I’m using iPad Air first generation iOS 12.0 and it’s charging slow. I’m using an iPad 3 charger adapter. It charges 3% in 8 minutes. Is there a way to charge faster than that?

The iPad Air1 does not support USB-PD (Power Delivery) Fast Charging.

Your iPad will charge at its maximum supported charging rate when connected to a 12W (i.e., 2.4A @5V) Power Adapter.
