is there a USB-C to lightning adapter to plug apple headphones into ipad pro?

Apple headphones have lightning plugs.

Ipad pro has USB-C

Is there an adaptor?

Spent 20 mins on chat with Apple and they couldn't understand this very simple question and advised me to buy a 2 meter cable with a male lightning plug?!?!?!?

Apple EarPods are available in two basic variants - the ubiquitous 3.5mm TRRS connector and Apple Lightning.


Adapters are available for both. Apple manufacture a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter; for a USB-C to Lightning Audio adapter, you’ll need to look for a third-party device.


One example that comes immediately to mind is manufactured by Anker:
