Can't reinstall my old printer

My message when I try to reinstall my old printer, which still works on Windows

Sorry, I just tried again and got a result. Thanks. I have been trying this for ages but never completed the installation. Old age, I´m afraid.

Suggest going to Developer of said Printer and look for Big Sur Specific updated drivers

I downloaded the driver as per your recommendation, installed it, but on the Add Printer page it was named but with no further details, so I still have no printer

The important thing was one asked for assistance ( never too old to ask ) and voila instant presto guidance was received resulting in getting the printer back and working.
