Apps automatically show up in dock.

I have a new iPad Pro. When I open an app to play a game it then shows up in the dock. This happens to all the apps I open. I don’t want all these apps in the dock. How do I stop this?

iPad, iOS 9

I presume your refer to the Recently Used Apps that appear to the right of the Dock? The three most recently used Apps will appear here to facilitate rapid switching between Apps.

You can disable this feature from iPad Settings:

Settings > Home Screen & Dock > Show Suggested & Recent Apps in Dock - set to OFF
