Airpods case flashing green/orange, won't connect

My AirPods have been being weird for a while now with only the left one connecting and playing audio though both my phone and computer. I have disconnected them from both my phone and laptop and charged them overnight, but now when I open the case it flashes green. The green flashing doesn't stop when I take out either AirPods so I assume its a problem with both? Holding the pairing button on the back doesn't do anything either; the color doesn't change and green doesn't stop flashing. My phone won't recognize the AirPods since they won't flash white. My apple store is closed right now and I have no idea what to do, please help!!!!
