Logic won't open on Big Sur
Hi my Logic stopped working and so I updated to Big Sur.
It is now saying I need a serial number.
Can anyone help me figure this out?

It is certain that the serial request is coming from another source. Logic Pro (or X) has never had a serial number. The authentication is your Apple ID and even that is not required to run the application, just to download it.

Is it possible that the serial they are referring to is for a plugin? Certain plugins have companion apps that need to be signed into again.
