I got a new phone and I’m wondering how I change my apple care from my old phone to new phone?
I got a new phone and had apple care insurance on it before and now I need to get it canceled and changed to my new iPhone 12.

You cannot transfer it from one device to another. You would need to cancel and then buy a new plan for the new device. To cancel, see instructions in: Cancel or change the payment method for your AppleCare plan - Apple Support
