I cannot update to the new version?

I have Mac OS High Sierra Version 10.13.6. I cannot download to the new version which is 10.15 because it shows that there is no updates available. I cannot even use & download apps. What should I do?

I can't update my software latest version. I can't update my software latest version. There is no update on App Store and I can't use some of the applications without it. What to do? It still shows version 10.13.6 (17G14042) but there should be already macOS X v10.14 or later

Updates are like 10.13.5 to 10.13.6, Upgrades are like 10.14.6 to 10.14.x, or 10.15.x
