Software Update ios 14.3

Why does my update button in settings say “Update requested”? My phones the 11 and I just got it recently but it came not updated.

Hello,

It is just telling you that it is updating to the latest version of iOS. Sometimes it takes a few days for the automatic updates to occur. See this for detail:

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Note: you shouldn't need to do anything. Leave it plugged in overnight and it will update by itself.
