Check your WiFi Router / Modem for --> Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points ...
Consider more secure wifi configuration.
Change your router’s WiFi to use WPA2-AES (CCMP) with no WPA or TKIP. Updating this setting ensures that your devices always connect in one encryption mode

I’m having the same problem as yoohoogrammy, but my router configuration site does not display any encryption options. Therefore the above article “Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points” is not helpful to me.
I cannot find any encryption options of any kind anywhere in my router settings. How do I access encryption settings. My router brand is Linksys if it helps you answer my question.
