Nope, on the contrary that’s the best thing to do.
Leaving your phone go completely dead often and then charging it up is what degrades the battery fastest. Charging your phone often is a good way to preserve battery health.
Have just gotten new battery and geek squad Best Buy said not to leave it plugged in all the time. When gets to 100% unplug. Not even to charge overnight so it will be over charging when it reaches100% while you are asleep. Confused. Don’t want to harm new battery iPhone 7.
It will stop charging when it reaches 100%, so it can't over charge. The Optimized Charging will delay the final charging to 100% until it thinks you will wake, so t won't be at 100% longer than needed, but it will never try for more than 100%.
