Software installation

“OS X could not be installed in this computer”


I tried to reset my Mac air to its original fabric settings. I have my computer since 2012 and since then I had updated and everything was fine. The latest version I was having was OS X El Capitan, then I could not updated to the next softwares due to lack of space so at the end I decided to reset the computer but I did not do a back up of the operational system. Now I can not install OS X, I don’t know what to do :(

About macOS Recovery - https://support.apple.com/HT201314 - "OS X Lion and later include OS X Recovery. This feature includes all of the tools you need to reinstall OS X, repair your disk, and even restore from a Time Machine backup." - Also information about Internet recovery.

To truly make it "factory" settings use option 3 to reinstall the original OS.
