How do I screen mirror to my Samsung & Panasonic smart TVs to view Apple TV ?

Hi,

I have an iPad 4th generation.

I am trying to screen mirror/cast to my Samsung / Panasonic smart TVs.

In order to watch Apple TV/Netflix/Prime etc etc.

My iPad and above TVs are on the same WiFi network.

But my iPad will NOT connect or display to my TVs mentioned above.

My Android phone connects perfectly to my TVs, but apple does not have a Android Apple TV app. As far as I know.

Please advise.

thanks

Although both methods involve using AirPlay, how they do so is different.

Sorry my mistake, my iPad is an iPad Air, 4th generation.

brand new last week.

What is the difference between screen mirroring and airplay 2!?

My Android OnePlus 5t and 8t cast to TVs for at least 3 years. Why can’t a brand new iPad?

I can cast / screen mirror YouTube to my TVs I’ve mentioned from my brand new iPad Air 4th gen, why can’t I cast Apple TV?

Your TVs need to be AirPlay 2 compatible for either mirroring the iPad or steaming something from your iPad.

Your new iPad Air 4 IS, obviously, AirPlay 2 compatible.

You need to either look at your TV's owners’ manuals or search online for the specs of your TVs to see if they are AirPlay 2 compatible.

Not all smart TVs are.
