My usb-c ports are loose!

Any advice please would be amazing, I have a 2017 MacBook Pro 13" and the two USB-C ports are loose, they don't click and have caused my external hard drives to break down MULTIPLE times! I am quite upset by this as this is my first MacBook and I paid a lot of money for it too! If this is a problem caused by bad materials in the usb connection I would be very unhappy to have to pay for the repair of something that isn't my fault. Any advice would be greatly appreciated please, I use my MacBook for multimedia and theatres and all sorts so can't chance a faulty usb-c!
