No Apple Music playlist track sort options?

Just moved over to Apple Music from Spotify, but find that all new tracks added to playlists (e.g. Shazam tracks) appear ‘at the bottom’ of the playlist.

I use the iOS app mostly - are there really no playlist track sorting options to e.g. by date added, ascending or descending?

Having to scroll through 700-odd tracks each time I want to listen to recent Shazam tracks is way painful, especially in CarPlay with fiddly steering wheel controls.

I found a workaround.

In the MacOS Music app set up a new smart playlist

Set the match rule to date added + is after + select e.g. 01/01/2000

Tick Live updating then Ok

In the menu bar go to View and select as Songs

Two finger tap on the list header row then tap on Date added

Tap on the more options button (...) then tap Copy to play order

Now when you Shazam a track, its always added at 'the top' of the track list. So when you get in the car, it's the first track you see in the CarPlay Music app new smart playlist ;)
