I went to do a trade in to buy the new (11/17) 2020 MacBook Air. My About This Mac says that I have a 13" 2020 with 1.1 GHz i5. However, for trade in, the year selection starts at 2019 - not 2020. Is Apple not supporting these as trade ins? If not, why?

No one knows. I assumed it was an oversight that would have been corrected by now. Contact Apple and ask.

Did Apple say when the 2020 MacBooks will offered on trade ins...on my six month old 2020 MacBook Air i5 I’ve been offered £450. Just hope that was an error on Apple behalf, because it was showing up as a 2019 MacBook Air at checkout, so I held off checking out.
Thank you for the quick response. I called Apple and they said that none of the 2020 products are listed because Apple hasn’t had enough time to support it.
