Downloading and saving Safari Update 13.1.2

I have a MacBook Pro 13" with High Sierra installed.

I downloaded, saved and installed the Security Update 2020-005 from https://support.apple.com/en_GB/downloads.

Differently from the other times, Safari Update was not included, so I had to download Safari Update 13.1.2 from the App Store, which doesn't give you the opportunity to save it.

Do you know if there is a way where I can download and save the Safari Update?

Thanks for reaching out to us with downloading and saving the Safari update. We're happy to provide some insight into this for you. The Safari updates are now included as a part of the macOS update. To keep Safari up-to-date will need to install the latest macOS version. You can get more info on that here:

many thanks for your reply.

I have an old MacBook Pro 13-inch, Early 2011, so the newest macOS I can install is High Sierra.

Nevertheless I keep My MacBook as updated as possible. Therefore I updated my macOS High Sierra until the Security Update 2020-005, that is the last one released.

Strangely, Apple did not include Safari 13.1.2 in the above Security Update, so I had to install it separetely via the App Store.

I wonder if there is any way I can download and save the last Safari release.
