Strong dislike for new date and time selection calendar/time in Reminders

Am I the only one who strongly dislikes the new date selection calendar in Reminders? With the old UI, you didn't see a calendar but you could smoothly scroll between dates, including across month boundaries. With the new calendar, scrolling to "the next Thursday" requires a cognitive jump as the month changes.

If there was vertical scrolling by weeks, with a consecutive 5 or 6 weeks always showing, even across month boundaries, then this cognitive disruption wouldn't happen.

Also, changing the time requires me to put my finger on top of a very small control, which has the effect of blocking my view of the value and thus being unsure how far to scroll.

Finally, the AM/PM has the classic UX error of being unclear as which option is actually chosen right now. The old UI didn't have this problem.

Change for the sake of change ... doesn't work for users!
