i deleted a lot of photo to make space for software update but it does not update. this is happening with photo only. I checked deleted area where it shows up as deleted. I also deleted from here but space is not being updated. I also turned off & on Iphone but no changes. Any suggestions before I head to Apple store to resolve. My software is not being updated.

yes, so my Iphone is waiting for space to be updated to iOS 12.4.8. Problem is after deleting a lot of photos, storage is still showing the same space, so IOS update is not taking place.
