Restoring iMessage Convo on iPhone

If you were using this Keep all your messages in iCloud - Apple Support the message isn't retrievable.

If you were backing up to icloud or itunes then you need to do this Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support
