Sound is working on my phone yet when I play videos from my photos the sound doesn’t work for the last few days

A few days ago and it's the old videos too that use to have sound. If I send them to WhatsApp they have sound from there

Photos app work flawlessly and since you speakers are working I doubt there is any hardware problem.
The sound is mute by default on the photos app for videos. Please tap on the volume button at the bottom when a video is playing or push the volume up button. This will enable the sound for a video under photos app.
