I am trying to update to 10.15.6 but after it takes me to restart now. I do restart enter the password but then nothing happens.
I go to the general settings and try to update again, yet the same issue as above occurs.

Takes noticeable longer to get to the login screen, does a 5-15 minute disk repair before it fully boots up, and certain system caches get cleared and rebuilt, including dynamic loader cache, etc. Login and try again

You need to clear up space on your hard drive. You need a little over 20GB free, at least.
Tried the safe boot option and now it appears to be up to date.
