How can I delete messages from iCloud? Storage is full and I have deleted or downloaded apps not being able to upload them again.

How can I delete messages from iCloud. Have downloaded most apps and storage is full. Messages are retaining most info in iCloud

iCloud is not an Archive. It is a syncing service. If you delete a message in iCloud or on any device you have tied to that Apple ID, the message will delete everywhere. I don't keep messages longer than a year. I rarely have any reason to hold onto text messages anyway.


Where are you out of space? Your iPad or iCloud?
