Josh ~ That number is only an estimate of a dynamic chemical process and the battery may have been manufactured months ago – so not "brand new".

Correct – Apple's battery suppliers may have had the battery sitting in their warehouse for months waiting to be shipped to the iPhone XR production line.

"Is it normal?"

Probably.

"Should I be worried or just go on with using it?"

Don't be worried and just go on with using it.
