Delete value in a pop up menu?

In Numbers, a Pop-up Menu has a list of menu items.

In this example, to delete the menu item 'Cherries' you can do it in Format Panel > Cell

Click on the menu item that you want to delete.

Click on the minus "-" sign.

Gone!

If you have several identical Pop-Up Menus that you want to change at the same time, select them all before you delete a menu item in Format Panel > Cell.

The built-in way is to format the popup to "Start with Blank" instead of "Start with First Item". The first item on the list will be "None". Select that item instead of deleting the cell contents.
