Connecting airport to internet provider's router

Have an outbuilding I am trying to connect to my network. Ran an ethernet cable from that building to my internet provider's router. Have tried a lot of different configs but none will work to get my airport to connect.

Any ideas?

Is the cable working correctly? Did you make it or did you buy a cable with connecters already on both ends?

What settings are you using on your Airport? You need to create a network, and have it get Internet from Ethernet. You need to set Networking to Off (Bridge mode). You should use the same wireless network name and password.
