im not receiving notifications

i have Apple Watch 3. I have had it for about a year give or take some months. It’s been working great til recently. I noticed this morning I’m not receiving any notifications. However if I go to messages the message will be there but I don’t get the notification for it. All notifications are turned on for my watch and my phone. Everything I been seeing to try doesn’t seem to work. Any other suggestions?
