iPad air2 startup

My current iPad Air has battery issues & due to cost of replacing battery, I bought a refurbished iPad Air2. Startup was going well until copying Apps & other data from my old iPad to the new. Was copying from iCloud but list of devices didn’t seem to include my device & wound up copying from my wife’s iPad which has very few Apps & Kindle books are hers. Question: If, under General, I “Erase all content and settings” , would the device revert to a new startup mode or get me deeper in doo doo? First, I tried “Reset all settings” but now can’t seem to do anything including logging into our personal WiFi. HELP!

Hello,

You could try restoring your iPad from a backup.
